Animations for the Product Launch of the New Steinberg IXO Product Series
Here's how we helped launch Steinberg's new series of mobile audio interfaces with powerful 3D animations.
Objective
For the product launch of the new IXO series, consisting of the mobile audio interfaces IXO12 and IXO22, Steinberg had clear objectives: they needed high-quality animations for their website, product pages, and social media channels. These animations were to present the products attractively in black and white variants and highlight the unique features of the audio interfaces.
Challenge
One of the biggest challenges in this project was the tight schedule. Additionally, an unexpected requirement arose during production: the integration of bundles, consisting of a microphone and headphones, which needed to be flexibly adapted. These dynamic changes required quick and precise reactions from our team to ensure the high quality and consistency of the animations.
This is where the advantage of CGI and the flexible adaptability of scenes and assets became crucial.
Solution
Our team created digital twins of the IXO product series based on CAD data. Through precise replication and dynamic animation, we were able to vividly showcase the unique product features. Each animation was carefully conceptualized to optimally highlight the advantages of the audio interfaces and meet Steinberg's visual standards.
These animations formed the basis for the final result, which Steinberg realized in-house with their own labels, sounds, and vocals.
Result
The result was impressive: the animations were flexibly integrated into the final video production and delivered on time for the product launch. Through close collaboration with Steinberg and consideration of the specific sound design, we ensured that the animations not only visually but also audibly perfectly matched Steinberg's brand identity.
